EXPAT EXPO TOKYO in 2021 will be the second event of the series started in 2020.
The number of expats living in Japan is rising every year. The coronavirus crisis has caused a dip in the growth rate, but the current expat population is put at around 2.88 million. That population is expected to grow in future. But expat foreigners still face various obstacles in many aspects of their everyday lives in Japan, due to barriers of language and lifestyle customs. That background inspired the First Expat Expo Tokyo, which took place in November 2020. It was a venue to match companies which provide goods and services to foreigners with those foreigners and their families in Japan who need those services. The second event, in 2021, will be even larger.
The Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Japan (PCCIJ) is actively supporting this project.
