The Polish Festival in Tokyo, one of the largest events promoting Poland in Japan, will be held for the 14th time this year.

Date: June 18, 2022 (Saturday) at 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Venue: Shibuya Stream Hall (Shibuya-ku Shibuya 3-21-3)

The Polish Festival in Tokyo is the largest annual event of this type promoting Poland and Polish culture in Japan and takes place as part of the Polish Heritage Days. It will be held for the 14th time this year.

This year we have prepared for you the following attractions:

  • an artistic stage program
  • exhibitions
  • workshops
  • stands with Polish souvenirs
  • culinary and promotional stands

STAGE PROGRAM (6th floor)

This year’s festival will be visited by the “Śląsk” Song and Dance Ensemble from Poland. Stanisława Hadyny and the Baltic Neopolis Orchestra, and in addition, there will be performances by: pianist Michał Sobkowiak, harpist May Kotohira, DJ Paula (musical introduction to Poland), and artist Kensuke Miyazaki, who painted a mural in 2017 as part of the “Over the Wall” project Mariupol – he will present his memories and talk about the co-authors of the mural.

COMMERCIAL AND CULTURAL STANDS

On the fourth, fifth and sixth floors you will find many commercial stands, including ceramics from Bolesławiec, books on Polish history and culture, souvenirs, natural cosmetics, baskets, accessories for dogs and board games. We have also prepared many attractions for children, including a fairy tale show, creative workshops and joint creation of a great picture.

CULINARY ATTRACTIONS

Craft beer, casseroles, sausages, donuts, in short Polish delicacies!

Additionally, in cooperation with Shibuya Stream and the “The Room COFFEE & BAR” bar, we have prepared a special menu and cocktails with Żubrówka and Dictador rum.
